Subject: Rubber cement thinner

Rubber cement thinner

The query in Cons DistList Instance: 9:51, about lighter fluid,
cleaning off adhesives, suggests that I ask the same question about
use of Bestine, rubber cement thinner, which cleans off adhesive
residue and wax, among other things, very well. However, it is
exceedingly flammable, including its fumes, and may have other bad
effects, like promotion of cancer. What are the hazards of lighter
fluid in comparison? And what are the long term archival
considerations of both fluids?
