Subject: Teleconference on mass deacidification
On October 26, 1995, the Pittsburgh Regional Library Center (now PALINET) and Robert Morris College School of Communications and Information Systems produced a videoconference entitled "Mass Deacidification for Paper-Based Collections." Many viewers reported audio difficulties which resulted from a defective audio board. Robert Morris College School of Communications and Information Systems has adjusted the sound levels and has sent each of the site coordinators a copy of the corrected tape. If you were a participant at a site which experienced this problem, you may borrow the tape or ask that a copy be made for you. Because of time constraints, some questions sent from viewing sites were not addressed during the program. The answers to those questions should be available by the end of February. If you are interested in receiving them, please notify Susan Melnick at one of the following addresses: Susan Melnick PALINET 103 Yost Boulevard Pittsburgh, PA 15221 412-825-0600 Fax: 412-825-0762 smm [at] prlc__org *** Conservation DistList Instance 9:52 Distributed: Sunday, January 7, 1996 Message Id: cdl-9-52-020 ***Received on Thursday, 4 January, 1996
