Kapco covers

Has anyone who has been using Kapco covers for a number of years
have any evidence that the covers contribute to the separation of
the cover from the textblock when the attachment is hot melt glue?

Has anyone used the Kapco covers and then later sent the volumes for
commercial rebinding?  If so have there been any problems?

Has anyone developed criteria for when to use Kapco covers based on
the type of attachment of the covers to the text?  Or size?
