Removing Styrofoam from bookcloth

Does anyone on the list know how to remove Styrofoam residue from
Cialux Bookcloth?

This is what happened:  The case of a clamshell, constructed with
Cialux bookcloth, was shipped with Styrofoam "peanuts" in direct
contact with the cloth.  The recipient reports that the peanuts were
stuck to the cloth and when removed they left styrofoam residue.
Also a dry cleaner looked at it and had no solution to the problem.
