Open house at BookLab

From: Jace Graf <jace>
Date: Tuesday, November 28, 1995
Many librarians and preservation specialists have heard about
BookLab's open house before ALA in January but do not have all the
details, and we are glad to post the following invitation again:

ALA Midwinter begins in San Antonio on Friday, January 19th. The day
before the conference begins BookLab will host an open house. This
will be a great opportunity to tour BookLab's new production
facility, and to relax with friends and colleagues before the hectic
conference schedule.

If you can join us, please book your flight to arrive in Austin any
time before 5:00 on the 18th. (Since Austin is only one hour from
San Antonio, airlines will let you fly into Austin and out of San
Antonio.) Fax or email your itinerary and we will meet your flight
and bring you to BookLab. The open house will be going on all day,
so you are welcome to arrive at any time, morning or afternoon. If
you prefer to arrive on Wednesday, we will greet you at the airport,
take you to your hotel, and pick you up on Thursday for the open
house.

BookLab will be open all day Thursday for tours, perusing our
library, and mingling. From 6:00 to 8:00 that evening we will serve
dinner, and then you will board a chartered bus for the short trip
to San Antonio. You should be at your hotel by 10:00 pm.

If you would like more information, please contact Jace Graf or
Wendy Beard at BookLab. Thanks for your interest - we hope to see
you in January,

Jace Graf
