Society of Archivists & Conservation Training Conference
Scotland, Edinburgh 2-5 July 1996.

The Annual Conference of the Society of Archivists and the
Conservation Training Conference will be held at Heriot-Watt
University, Edinburgh from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th July 1996.

The campus offers a high standard of accommodation and has excellent
seminar, lecture and trade fair facilities.  It is situated to the
west of the city, close to the airport.

The conference theme is to be preservation in the broadest sense and
it is planned that part of the programme will be common to both
disciplines.

There will be opportunities to visit repositories and workshops in
and around the city with the formal dinner being held in the
Ballroom of the Assembly Rooms in George Street, central Edinburgh.
