Subject: Training materials for emergency response
The National Task Force on Emergency Response, sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Getty Conservation Institute and the National Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Property, has generated a number of initiatives through the task force working groups. A Working Group on Training for Cultural Institutions is exploring methods to provide emergency response training to cultural institutions of all types. The group would greatly appreciate it if you would send to NIC any agendas, curricula, and supporting materials for disaster salvage and recovery training courses or workshops you have given, so that the Working Group can assemble a list of key components/topics for future training efforts. Please send your materials, by November 15, to: John Ketchum National Institute for Conservation 3299 K Street, NW, Suite 602 Washington, D.C. 20007 (202) 625-1495 (202) 625-1485 fax jketchum [at] nic__org e-mail *** Conservation DistList Instance 9:37 Distributed: Thursday, October 26, 1995 Message Id: cdl-9-37-004 ***Received on Monday, 23 October, 1995
