There are two sources for "archivally" acceptable film cans: DanCan
and PRC. The most common distributor in the US is Plastic Reel Corp.

The PRC motion picture film cans are safe for long term storage of
film, and can be used in temperatures as low as 2 C. Some of the
archival cans are flame retardant as well. For more information
about the containers themselves, contact:

    Pat Baccarella Exec. VP
    PRC of America
    Brisbin Ave
    Lyndhurst NJ 07071
    201-933-5100

Pat Baccarella's specialty is the archival products line they
distribute and he is a member of AMIA.

Please note that Gaylord carries a variety of PRC's motion picture
film cans in their Archival product catalog.
