NEDCC Presents a Session on Digital Imaging Wednesday, September 20, 1995 1:00 p.m. Presbyterian Historical Society Philadelphia, PA The Northeast Document Conservation Center will open enrollment to the guest speakers session of its three day workshop on preservation microfilming. The session will take place on Wednesday, September 20, 1995 at 1:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Historical Society, 425 Lombard Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The three guest speakers for the session are Paul Conway, Head, Preservation Department, Sterling Memorial Library, Yale University; Anne Kenney, Associate Director, Department of Preservation and Conservation, Olin Library, Cornell University; and Virgilia Rawnsley, Director of Preservation Services, Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts. Mr. Conway and Ms. Kenney will address the conversion of digitized images to microfilm, the Cornell perspective and the conversion of microfilm to digitized images, the Yale perspective. As managers of the two projects, they will include a discussion of cost and quality. Ms. Rawnsley will address the preservation implications of digitization. The cost of the afternoon session is $25 payable by check made out to NEDCC. Each full workshop participant is invited to bring one quest free of charge to the open session. Participation is limited.
