Whale bone

Carol Brown's posting requested information on materials for
conserving Whale Bone.

Might HMG Cellulose Acetate adhesive be used in this context, it has
been used to repair damaged ivory & bone structures. I hasten to add
I have had no practical experience being a paper conservator in my
other life.
