Microfilm quality control

I need to get a sense of how other institutions are handling quality
control of microfilm they have produced themselves or have
contracted out.

    Do you perform quality review of this microfilm?

    Do you conduct technical as well as bibliographic review of this
    microfilm?

    Do you conduct frame-by-frame review?  For all microfilm?  For
    only certain microfilm?  What criteria do you apply to determine
    the extent and type of quality review?

    Who does the quality review?
