Publication on disaster supplies

New Disaster Publication Available

WISPPR (the Wisconsin Preservation Program) is pleased to announce
the publication of "Disaster Recovery Supplies & Suppliers,"
compiled by Caroline Gilderson-Duwe, preservation librarian at the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  This useful publication provides
current information about the state wide emergency government
system, supplies and equipment for disaster response and recovery, a
listing of hand book binders, consultants and resource people, and a
current listing of disaster recovery services and vendors.  Although
geared to meet the needs of Wisconsin libraries, this publication
will be of value to any library where staff are concerned with
protecting collections from disaster.

Copies can be purchased from the Council of Wisconsin Libraries.
The price for Wisconsin libraries is $7.50 prepaid, $12.50 if an
invoice is required.  For all other libraries the cost is $12.50
prepaid, $17.50 if an invoice is required.  Gilderson Duwe has
produced a useful, thorough and easy to read document.  To purchase,
send a check made out to the Council of Wisconsin Libraries in the
