The Society of American Archivists (SAA) is now on the World Wide
Web. SAA's home page provides information on its annual meetings,
publications, membership, annual meetings, education programs,
committees, sections, and much more. Among the resources available
are the Leadership List, the SAA Strategic Plan, the SAA Code of
Ethics, the ALA-SAA Joint Statement on Access to Original Research
Materials, a directory of archival organizations in North America,
and guidelines for archival education, institutional evaluation, and
student chapters. To connect with the SAA home page, point your
World Wide Web browser to:

The SAA home page is designed and managed by the SAA Student Chapter
at the University of Texas at Austin.

The mission of the Society of American Archivists is to serve the
educational and informational needs of its members and to provide
leadership to help ensure the identification, preservation, and use
of the nation's historical record.
