Disaster response discussion on America Online

A new section on America Online; possibly useful during disaster recovery?
Someone from the Distlist might wish to make an approach to the PSC for for
assistance in conservation recovery efforts...

    The Public Safety Center (Keyword: PSC)

    The Public Safety Center served as an important
    coordination/information point for public safety professionals
    and other AOL members during the days/weeks after the explosion
    in Oklahoma City. PSC online co-hosts worked long hours putting
    safety and rescue staff in touch with the right resources,
    sending information to federal authorities, disseminating
    information on needs/conditions at the site, and ultimately
    reminding all of us that the online community can make a
    difference.
