Removing chewing gum from leather

From: James Fairbourn <jlf>

In response to Alison Wain's query on removing gum from leather, try
freezing it. Frozen chewing gum is brittle and may be chipped free
of an object, usually without causing damage. Anyway, it works for
books and clothing. G'day.
