Seminar on preservation management

Preservation Management Seminar Registration Deadline Extended

A few more spaces are available for the July 9-17 "Preservation
Management for College Libraries" Seminar, sponsored by AMIGOS and The
Commission on Preservation and Access. The registration deadline for the
Seminar has been extended until Monday, April 17.

The seminar will help participants develop planning and management
skills within the context of preservation program components, including
Environmental Control, Disaster Preparedness, Library Binding, Book
Repair and Collections Maintenance, Treatment Decision- making, and
numerous other instructional components. Seminar faculty includes
national preservation consultant Lisa Fox, Jane Hedberg, Serials
Librarian and Preservation Administrator at Wellesley College, and Tom
Clareson, AMIGOS Preservation Service Manager.

Twenty participants for the Seminar, to be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico,
will be selected based on their applications. For application materials
