POST-IT notes

From: Sandy Hempe <shempe>

In response to the query on POST-IT notes, we found a couple of
citations that could be helpful. There are a couple of paragraphs
regarding "Removable Self-Stick Notes" on p.65, V.13, No.4 of the Abbey
Newsletter, which discusses residual adhesive, image lifting, and color
transfer. There is also a short warning about the use of Post-it notes
on p.140, V.6 of the Book and Paper Group Annual.

Also, the Book and Paper Group's Paper Conservation Catalog says that
the adhesive used in Post-it notes is the same adhesive as the 3M Co.
#811 removable transparent tape.
