Library preservation workshops

The Milton S. Eisenhower Library of The Johns Hopkins University with
funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities will offer
hands-on workshops in basic and advanced preservation techniques during
1995:

     Disaster Preparedness/Recovery               June 8-9
     Basic Book Repair                            June 19-22
     Advanced Book Repair                         July 12-14
     Treatment of Older (General) Collections     July 24-27
     Advanced Enclosures                          August 7-9

These workshops continue and expand on the long tradition of successful
preservation training at Johns Hopkins.  Early inquiries are
recommended.
