Curled microfiche

I have been asked to post this query on behalf of Melody Lembke at the
Los Angeles County Law Library, who is not a member of this list. Please

They have microfiche which have been in their original mailing boxes for
about 2 years. They finally obtained funding to purchase a cabinet for
the microfiche but have discovered that a lot of the fiche have curled.
They, therefore, can't get as many of them in the cabinet drawers as
they had anticipated. The fiche do work fine in the reader/printers.
Does anyone know of methods for uncurling the fiche or otherwise dealing
with this problem?
