Conservation policy documentation

I am the Conservator at the Burnaby Village Museum just east of
Vancouver, British Columbia.  We are undergoing a major policy review
which will include the establishment of the institutions first
conservation policy.  The Policy Consultant and myself are looking for
examples of successful conservation policies to use as references and
guides.  If anyone is willing to share their bureaucracy I would greatly
