The 1995 Midwest Regional Conservation Guild (MRCG) Spring meeting will
be held from Friday April 7 to Sunday April 9, 1995. The Location for
the meeting is the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, Dearborn
and the Detroit Institute for the Arts, Detroit Michigan.

There is a Welcome Reception planned for Friday evening at a Lebanese
restaurant within walking distance of the Hotel. Both Saturday and
Sunday sessions will be held at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield
Village (registration will begin on Saturday morning at 8:30). There
will be a tour and wine reception at The DIA Conservation Labs on
Saturday and a tour of the Conservation Labs of the Henry Ford Museum on
Sunday. A block of rooms has been reserved on behalf of MRCG/Henry Ford
Museum at the Quality Inn for $55 per night. The Quality Inn is within
walking distance of the Henry Ford Museum but there are other hotels
nearby. Contact:

    Quality Inn
    2140 Michigan Ave.
    Dearborn, MI 48124

Papers are invited on all subjects. There will be some effort to group
papers around the problems/dilemmas faced when treating (or not
treating) synthetic materials or multi-media objects. The Henry Ford
Museum is interested in discussing problems dealing with large and
varied objects especially modern ones. So papers dealing with either of
these topics will be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in
giving a talk please contact Nicola Longford as soon as possible:
