Subject: Removing photograph from glass
In Instance: 8:1, I wrote: >A patron has asked us how to remove a photograph from glass We spoke with Fred Sigman, Art Historian Photographer, here at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He said that what was sticking the picture to the glass was spilled coffee with a lot of sugar in it. He was able to soak it off without damaging the photo. This works especially well with resin prints; gelatine prints may not come free, depending on the amount of area and the length of time stuck to the glass. Patsy L.
