Fome-Cor

In a conversation I was having will environmental consultant Bill Lull,
he mentioned the use of Fome-Cor to prevent light from entering windows
in stack/storage areas.  Seems like an elegantly simple and relatively
inexpensive idea.  Can anyone think of why this may pose a problem?
