From: Charlotte Brown <ecz5cbb>
Date: Thursday, January 5, 1995
The Curator-Conservator Discussion Group of the Rare Books and
Manuscripts Section (ALA) is sponsoring a tour of the Conservation
Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) prior to the American
Library Association midwinter meeting in Philadelphia, PA.

Feb 3rd, 9 am to 11 am
Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts
264 South 23rd Street
Philadelphia, PA

The CCAHA is one of several not-for-profit centers in the United States
which provide expertise in the conservation and preservation of library
and archival materials. If you have never seen a conservation treatment
laboratory or if you would like to see the latest techniques in
practice, this is the tour for you.

The CCAHA is in the downtown Philadelphia area, approximately eleven
blocks west of the convention center. Our host will be Jill Rawnsley of
the CCAHA staff.
