Harry Campbell

The Conservation Division of Information Conservation, Inc. is pleased
to announce the appointment of Harry Campbell to the position of Chief
Conservator/Assistant to the President.  His appointment was effective
on December 5, 1994.

Harry was previously with the Ohio State University Libraries as Head of
the Collection Maintenance and Bindery Preparation Department.  As the
head of these two sections, he administered a department of 10 people
with a combined budget of $250,000.  His experience covers a wide
spectrum of activities ranging from performing conservation treatments
on special collection materials to the creation of original binding
designs.

Prior to the move Mr. Campbell was very active in the Ohio area as a
member of various committees that dealt with such subjects as exhibit
preparation, emergency and disaster control, and the Ohio Newspaper
Project.  He served as president of the Guild of Book Workers Midwest
Chapter 1990-91 and has presented many workshops and lectures in the
Ohio region.  These wide-ranging skills will be used to the fullest in
his new role as a member of the Information Conservation, Inc. team.
