Preservation awareness

A question for research libraries: how do you heighten awareness of
preservation issues among staff and users? Some of us at Ellis Library
at the University of Missouri-Columbia are starting to plan doing just
that, and would be grateful for any suggestions regarding handouts,
training aids, anything that would communicate both the message that
preservation is very important as well as some specifics of how to treat
materials. Thanks for your assistance.
