The Getty Conservation Institute has just been recognized by the
California Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Pesticide
Regulation, for its work on non-toxic pest control.   Recognized as an
"IPM Innovator", the GCI and the University of California, Riverside
have jointly worked out procedures for killing insect pests in objects
using 99.9% nitrogen environments.   For further information please
