Marking books

Re:  Eric Shoaf's query regarding marking in white pen on dark-colored
papers.

At VCU, we use a foil label (size approximately 1" x 1-1/2") on
materials that will not usually show the pencil marking.  Marking is
still done in pencil and the label is adhered where it normally appears.
