Radiation and mold

In response to Agnes Quigg's question, I would suggest reading
"Nonchemical Treatment Processes for Disinfestation of Insects
and Fungi in Library Collections" by Johanna G. Wellheiser,
IFLA Publication 60.  It describes several non-chemical
treatments and describes the effects the various treatments have
on molds, mildews, insects, etc.  The volume includes a very
good bibliography.
