    The Electronic Working Group CAHL (Canadian-Australian Histoire du
    Livre) has been established to permit researchers and teachers in
    Canada and Australia to assist each other in projects related to the
    history of the book/histoire du livre.  All areas of activity are
    welcomed: aesthetic, political, economic, socio-cultural,
    bibliographic.

    In order not to duplicate electronic discussion groups such as SHARP
    and BIBSOCAN, and in order to keep the focus on specific work in
    progress, we would like to begin CAHL by invitation.  If you are
    interested in joining CAHL, please send your name, internet address,
    and a brief description of your current projects to
