Polyethylene bags

From: Ellen McCrady <czbb064>
Date: Thursday, June 2, 1994
This is in reply to Don Farren's query of May 25th about using ordinary
polyethylene bags for storing collection items. Generally, there is
nothing wrong with polyethylene except that it's floppy. See the
handouts and manuals from NEDCC, SAA, IPI and other information centers;
also, p. 4 in ANSI IT9.2-1991: "Polyethylene and polypropylene have
been found suitable as they are generally inert, unplasticized, and have
good chemical stability."
