Cleaning and housing phonograph discs

From: Kevin Bradley <K.Bradley>

Records need to be washed in a surface active agent like cetrimide
(n-cetylpyridinium chloride also known as Cepacol chloride) in weak
solution (1%) to ensure that the entire record is properly wetted.
Cetrimide has the advantage of being a mild antiseptic. The disc then
needs to be thoroughly rinsed, especially as you are not using a record
cleaning machine. Use distilled water for rinsing.
