The School of Information Studies (IST) at Syracuse University announces
the 1994 Summer Institute on Leadership and Change in Libraries. There
are 2,5, and 7 day intensive courses from July 23 to August 12 on a
variety of current topics of interest to members of this listserv. For
information on the Summer Institute or a specific course, please reply

A sampling of courses offered in this summer's Institute are:

    Preservation Policy and Management John F. Dean   July 30-August 5

    This course is designed to introduce participants to the general
    principles of library and archives preservation with particular
    emphasis on the practical and managerial aspects. John F. Dean has
    been conservation librarian at Cornell University Libraries since
    1985.
