[I'm on the Governing Board of the Eastern Analytical Symposium, and am
organizing a session of papers in Conservation Science.  The official
call for papers has just gone out in the EAS newsletter, THE EAS
RETORT.]

Conservation Science at the 33rd Eastern Analytical Symposium, EAS.

EAS is one of analytical chemistry's primary annual professional
meetings, with over 30 sessions of invited or contributed papers as well
as workshops, short courses and tutorials, on applications of
instrumental techniques.  EAS also features an exposition of current
technology vendors.  This year EAS debuts its first-ever session on
Conservation Science.  There is also a session on Microscopy, which will
be coordinated with the Conservation Science session.  Abstracts of
100-200 words are due by April 15, 1994 to EAS Program Committee, PO Box
633, Montchanin, DE 19710-0633 USA. Acceptance notification in May.
