Program Coordinator, The University of Texas at Austin.

Preservation and Conservation Studies is accepting applications and
nominations for the position of program coordinator.  Required
qualifications :  Bachelor's degree in liberal arts; five years of
experience coordinating a program or project; or experience teaching,
counseling or advising students in an academic setting; or experience in
student personnel programs.  Grant or proposal writing experience.
Preferred: MLS  with a specialization or certificate in preservation
administration, knowledge of the preservation field through academic
training or experience, fund-raising and public relations experience.
Security sensitive; conviction verification conducted on applicant
selected.  Duties include: organize lecture and workshop series and
special conferences; write grant proposals and reports for private
foundations and government agencies; assist in the management of the
media resource centers and the conservation laboratories; edit and
publish a newsletter.

Salary is $2142 to $2917 per month, based on qualifications, plus
excellent fringe benefits.   Funding subject to renewal July 1, 1994.
