Category: Full Time.  Contract Appointment.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:   To assist the Preservation Officer in administering
    programs to preserve the collections of the University of Maryland
    College Park Libraries.  To develop and manage the program and unit
    within the department devoted to brittle books.

Qualifications: MLS degree from an ALA accredited Library School
    required.

Experience: Requires one year of professional library experience that
    includes staff supervision.  Preferred, experience in library or
    archival preservation, particularly experience managing preservation
    microfilming projects or programs.

Benefits:   22 working days annual leave; 14 paid holidays; 15 days sick
    leave.

Position Available: Immediately.
