Course on pest control

Pest Management and Control for Museums

This course has been designed for conservators, collection managers, a
nd other museum personnel responsible for overseeing insect pest
management policies and activities, including pest eradication
procedures. Course instructors will be leading specialists in the areas
of insect identification, IPM, and pest eradication by means of
fumigants, freezing, modified atmospheres (nitrogen, argon and carbon
dioxide). Lectures and practical sessions will include discussion of
required equipment and procedures for setting up various eradication systems.
