International library binding symposium

    International Library Binding Symposium Set for France

    The Etablissement Public de la Bibliotheque de France and the City
    of Nancy (traditionally the center of the French bookbinding trade)
    are organizing an international symposium on the "Bookbinding
    Renaissance" to be held Oct. 7-8 at the Palais des Congres in Nancy.

    The symposium aims to highlight the contemporary international
    library binding scene and will bring together points of view from
    the various professions in the field, including binders and
    publishers, librarians, library binders and technical training
    establishments, in order to define up-to-date objectives and
    standards in the field.
