Mass deacidification test

In response to Cathy Atwood's query regarding the marking of books after
mass deacidification:  we ink stamp each book upon its return from
treatment.  The symbol used is a small "D" inside a circle.  It is
placed at the top of the textblock, just in from of the spine.
