Library of Congress manuscript marking ink

From: Merrily Smith <nppo>
Date: Wednesday, July 7, 1993
The Library of Congress is again distributing, without charge, its
manuscript marking ink. Blue and black ink are available and may be
obtained by writing to: National Preservation Program Office, Mail Stop
4540; Library of Congress; Washington, D.C. 20540, U.S.A; attention:
Carrie Beyer Requests may also be sent via electronic mail to
nppo [at] seq1__loc__gov. The ink will be sent along with a copy of the newly
revised Preservation Leaflet No. 4 (Ownership Marking of Paper-Based
Materials). The leaflet may also be requested separately. For those of
you who have ftp capability, this and other preservation leaflets will
be available on-line through a soon-to-be-implemented Library of
Congress Campus-Wide Information System (CWIS) based on Gopher software.
When the LC CWIS is available, I'll let you know how to get to the
preservation information on it.
