Container for Sumerian tablet

An easy way to house your Sumerian tablet is to take a ready made
acid-free box and cut a piece of one or two inch polyethylene foam to
fit. Then cut out a well to fit the tablet and line it with something
smooth, washed unbleached cotton muslin or Tyvek or acid-free tissue.
You don't say what type of paperwork you want to keep with the object.
If it is small enough (a tag or some such) you can tape a Mylar window
on the top or side of the box with Scotch Brand Double-sided tape No.
415. The main concern with an object like this is to avoid abrasion and
give good physical support. Hope this helps
