Pesticides in Shastri books

... McGill is receiving books from India under a government exchange
(Shastri) that are contaminated with an unknown chemical.  The people
... doing the examination of the unknown chemical are from the
university's safety office and samples have been sent to our pesticide
expert at our agriculture campus.... I don't as yet know how extensive
the problem is but it appears that some other university libraries are
having similar problems. I will let you know what the results of the
analysis are when received.
