According to "HARC News," Vol. 2, No. 2, (Halon Alternatives Research
Corporation), INERGEN is 52% nitrogen, 40% argon, and 8% carbon dioxide.

There are several other candidate replacement agents for Halon also
currently being discussed by the National Fire Protection Association.

In the May 1993 issue of "WAAC Newsletter," there will be two articles
about fire-extinguishing systems for museums (and libraries) in the
post-Halon world.
