The University of Kentucky is building a new 2 million volume
library (construction to begin summer 1994). The building program
calls for 70 degrees plus or minus 2 degrees temperature and 50%
plus or minus 3% relative humidity. The building will have open
stacks and house a general, not rare book, collection. While current
advice seems to be to get the best conditions you can afford and can
maintain," I would appreciate hearing what new libraries or
    renovations are actually settling for.

Thank you very much for your input.
