    News From ITU (Turkey):

    One of the biggest textile lab. at Europe has been opened by the
    Prime Minister S.Demirel on 27th February 1993 at Istanbul Technical
    University.  The Lab. was established by cooperation with ITU and
    ITKIB(Istanbul Textile and Confection Exporter Ass.).  Its cost
    about 900,000 dollars.  It has lab instruments which are the latest
    technology and it can be done required any textile tests.
