Chemical sponges

In response to Dean DeBolt's request for information on the chemical
sponges that will remove soot:

The Quality Rubber Company makes an Industrial Cleaning Sponge that
works. I've dealt with Tom Savarese, the National Sales Manager, who is
in Sedalia, Missouri.  The company is headquartered in Seminole, Florida
(813-397-8802).  Call and ask for a sample.
