In these days of shrinking budgets for the conservation and
preservation of collections in Libraries and Archives, there is now a
chance to win $3,000.00 worth of conservation services.

Information Conservation, Inc. Conservation Division will offer a
competition to win a prize of $3000.00 worth of services. Any
institution within the United States can apply by writing a proposal how
best they would use these conservation services. The proposal has to
include any of the endeavors presently offered by the Conservation
Division. These include paper treatment, boxing, encapsulation,
repairing or rebinding.

The proposals will be judged by a panel of three preservationists.
The winning author will receive a $200.00 cash award for his/her effort,
and the institution will receive conservation services that total
$3000.00.

The entries must be received on or before November 30, 1991 by:
