Micropublishers

The University of Florida, for the Research Libraries Group, hopes to
receive funding in the near future for a SURVEY OF MICROPUBLISHERS. A
pretest of the survey was done for the Commission on Preservation and
Access by the American Association of Law Libraries.

Definition of "MICROPUBLISHER" is broad, including archives and
libraries which make film available to other research institutions.  We
have compiled an extensive list of commercial micropublishers and a
detailed list of institutional micropublishers.

In order to assure comprehensive survey of institutional
micropublishers, I am asking Libraries which generate microfilm (i.e.,
microfilm cataloged with the USMARC 007 field, byte 11, "generation"
code "a") to tell me who they are.  Please, drop a line to ERIKESS@NERVM
