Squeeze paper

From: Lynn Jones <ljones>

Berkeley has a collection of over 3,000 antique ink squeezes of Chinese
monuments. They seem to have been done on a variety of traditional
Asian papers, naturally handmade papers (based on the age of the
rubbings).. The paper is dampened before application to the stone and
pounded into the stone with stiff brushes. I suspect any suitably
strong Japanese paper could be used.
