I would like to put in a good word for the opportunities available in Hawaii especially for conservators with archives, library, and book conservation experience. The facilities are brand new, spacious and beautiful, with the best, most abundant natural light in existenceance. TThe opportunity to teach in the Univ. of Hawaii's School of Library and Information Studies developing certificate program in preservation management for libraries and archives is a real one. The need for paper conservators here is great, you will have the opportunity to travel in all the Hawaiian Islands and beyond in work related activities. And you will be living in paradise, with wonderful weather, beautiful beaches, clean air, and a very friendly population. The people and culture are as diverse and exciting as you will find anywhere. I love it here and recommend it highly. We really need good paper conservators here, come join us. *** Conservation DistList Instance 4:16 Distributed: Saturday, September 29, 1990 Message Id: cdl-4-16-002 ***Received on Friday, 28 September, 1990
